Gaming at Pendraken Miniatures - 29 / 06 / 2024

What follows are some photographs I took while taking charge of a part of the British landings in a D-Day Sword Beach game.

The location was Pendraken Miniatures' games room.

The miniatures belonged to James.

The terrain was a mixture belonging to Dave and James.

Martin and myself commanded the British, with Dave and James GM-ing/commanding the Axis forces.

LINK to Dave's blog post of the same game - with explanation and more photographs (of the whole table).

The four of us are all members of the North Riding Wargames Group (NRWG)

Further information (provided by James) on the Mont Fleury battery:

"The casemates for the battery were incomplete. Two were being built and had no roofs or guns (which were in some woods behind the casemate position). Only one of the casemates seems to have had a working gun."
